Scaring My Friend with the GARGANTUAN LEVIATHAN in VR! | Subnautica

A little over a year ago, my friend HighWay starred in one of my videos where I scared him with some of Subnautica’s scariest biomes and the terrifying creatures that call them home. But the other day, I had an amazing idea. What if we scared him again only this time with arguably the most terrifying Subnautica mod: the Gargantuan Leviathan mod? Since last time, HighWay also purchased a VR headset, so he’ll also be doing this in VR! This is his first time ever experiencing this mod, so ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be hilarious…

This mod is currently unreleased so there is no way to download it for the time being. When it is finished, it will be available for free. Right now, it is only available to select YouTubers like Aci, Anthomnia, IGP, and The Last Bacon. In other words, you can't get it yet.

VR makes all the creatures look bigger...but that's because you're seeing them in proper perspective compared to the not-so-good perspective in non-VR subnautica. You're seeing things as you'd see them if you were actually there.

What I love about the Garg is that it in lore uses it's bioluminescense to confuse prey, as well it being an ambush predator capable of hiding well!

This is perfectly showcased at 6:45 onwards!
