Is it possible to get a "secret" ending? I've yet to findout but if anything was possible to cause it, It'd be the infected peepers in your inventory. I suppose it COULD be possible to be infected and "cure" yourself if you get enough peepers with the cure infused into them?

Fun fact: there WAS a planned one where what you tried here would come to pass, taking off and escaping whilst infected, leading into the events of the devs’ other game, Natural Selection. It’s known as the ‘Cave Crawler’ ending and was never implemented due to the devs thinking it was too dark.

Here's how it works:
If the player has gotten to infection stage 5 (cured) then it'll allow the player to disable the quarantine enforcement platform.
He set himself to 5 then set it back to 4, meaning it went to 5 and the game registers the player as cured, even though they are not anymore.

there is no secret ending at the moment, but the reason you disabled the gun is you used a command to bypass all the progress needed which in terms has a high probability to mess with the engines scripts therefore breaking the games line of code. with out the codes line of thinking it doesn't recognise you having the infection.
