Despite what the online gamer echo chamber claims, the PS5 Pro has a customer base it serves. It's not for me, but there are people willing to buy it for the asking price because they want what it offers.

The exact same thing happened with the PSPortal. The echo chamber all screamed and whined about how no one wanted it and how it would flop. Then it released and has been a consistent high seller.

Gamers really need to step out of this online, social media bubble and realize that normal consumers don't think the same way perpetually online weirdos think. This dogmatic thinking is the main reason why I avoid the online video game "community". And no, just because normies buy what they want (with their own money) isn't a reason to insult them.

Just preordered mine today, been on the fence for awhile about it since I already have a ps5 since launch 4 years ago. Idk how I feel about it not having a disc drive but honestly I play more digital games than anything, just easier for me to game bc stores here don’t always have games I’m looking for
