I go with coach, I like my clubs clean ( I clean them after each round ) when I start a round of golf. Do I play better with clean clubs, probably not. I also like head covers on all my clubs when I play golf. I understand, it's painful ( to me) to see clubs in play that are beat up. You guys do a great job, entertaining and informative.

Dented the bottom of my Mizuno MP-68 7 iron on a rock that was under the dirt beneath a tree last Saturday, a single tear ran down my cheek. But of course being on the sole of the club it doesn't change how the club performs at all.

Good evening Gentlemen. The chip on the club would affect the re-sale value as and when you decided to sell it or upgrade the club for the latest model. Cheers Guys

I would have to think a significant dent in a driver would affect its structural integrity hence its performance would be changed when striking the ball. As it would with a crack or hole

clubs are meant to be swung hard at all that is sitting on grass, dirt, sand, whatever. If they're not a bit roughed up then you aren't really golfing.
