So mine power cycles when you hold the power button down with talking the mains out and back in again but it doesn’t get past the loading screen before restarting and trying again - any ideas ?

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro. Worked like a charm for years, until about a month ago. Sometimes it won't turn on, sometimes it will. I've tried the shift/option/command/power button method and one time it seemed like it worked, but later it wouldn't start again. And then of course a day after it would start up. Several times it has tried to start, but then immediately shut down. So basically just no consistency at all, so I have no idea what's going on. 3 things you should know: 1) it did have a little drop (about a foot, hit the bevel, not flat) maybe a week or 2 before this started happening, but it wasn't that bad and it was working after it was dropped 2) I have used this laptop to charge my devices for many years, so I'm wondering if maybe I have just burnt it out a bit? or is that not a thing? 3) I wiped the hard drive about 3 months ago, again though, hadn't experienced any problems after. So anyway, PLEASE HELP!! When it turns on, it still works just fine and shows no signs of having anything wrong with it.

I have a suspicion that #2 is my issue but I'm not buying a new charger for a computer that'll be replaced in a month to I'm trying the other options out
