trying to be a tech lead, and I think you hit the nail on the head. a lot of vids I think skip from BA to PO, but often there's a tech lead somewhere in the middle getting zero recognition.

I agree with most of the video content. The only thing I don't agree is "you are in charge, but you have no authority". If that happens, then it's definitely a bad thing, you can't have responsabilities without authority.

A tech lead should have the authority to take the technical decisions in the team's projects. Of course, you need to follow the standards of the company, and, ideally, have an active communication with the software arquitect and manager.

Agile aint perfect. We work agile but we need a new tech lead to figure out systems beforehand because we are just building patch upon patch when you never plan ahead in big scaling softwares.
