Its ok to have a sense of humor. On a side note, one of the reasons IT folks don't often move into leadership roles in non-technical areas of a company is that they don't have a sense of humor, can't communicate in a non-technical way and have trouble building their network with non-technical people. How many CEOs of Fortune 500 companies came up through the CIO position? Something to think about....
