I've only seen two and spent three hours looking for them. One on redwoods shore line the other was in the swamp under the trees.

If you are just starting out with vanilla/spawn blue prints, forget trying to tame this beast. Its the literal giga-mosquito. Its not very tanky health wise, but its speed & agility is crazy OP. Unless I just got unlucky and found a crazy high Leveled one, or the server was having issues, idk.

They spawn heavy at 60 40 on lost island. Heavy rw castle and swamp by pirate ship

Only found in the Island 2 in all the spawns and 3 together in the same lake in Lost Island.

I’m only getting males at the moment - there’s always only 2 there around redwood swamps at once - one near west 1 and 1 spawns near the swamp sorta near green ob - (not the swamp closest to the sea)

It would be handy to know what spawn group they are as I spent ages trying get them to respawn - they are rare atm

By technicality, this is one of the only creatures you can’t have as first tame. You need a creature to impregnate so it can’t be your first. The only other is like the troodon or something

I literally found 1 rhygniogantha in my life of playing Ark and I was so dumb that I decided to kill it (and no i did not infact check it's gender so I missed a possible pheremon holder)
