It’s a lot easier to run your grooves all at once on long boards before cutting to proper length. Thus avoiding constant adjustments to the blade and fence. Once that is done, you can move on to the tongues.

what wood is your 1X4 ? Poplar is expensive . !!

Panel looks a bit tight and you don't fit the rails into the panel. You fit the panel into the rails...if you can't slide the plywood in the grove, your grove is to tight. Make rails and styles to fit the door opening and then cut the insert panel to fit. Groove on rails and styles can be the same depth and width. Why complicate things like you did??? Cut the styles to length right the first time. Again, the plywood panel is to tight... Cut both styles at the same time. I know that plywood doesn't expand and contract like solid wood will but you should never use that much glue in the slot of the second style. And before you send me a reaction to this, I have been doing this same thing for over 60 years and have had no problems making a living and have had no call backs for doors that came apart or didn't fit after several years.
