The reason why these African countries are among the poorest is because of poor governance and lack of visionary leadership! These countries have a lot of natural resources, but the mentality of some of these leaders is to keep its people in poverty while they live a luxurious life. They do not care about development nor of its people.Keeping a useless government is one of the worst things people could do to themselves. Changing government all the time leads to instability at times, and the country takes a longer time to progress and development because each new government has different ideologies and vision or lack of it for a country. So sad for these people !
