I spent hours trying to figure this out on my own. Thank goodness I found this walkthrough! Simple and easy! ❤

Can you do a video where you explain, in close-up, what is the function of each part that makes up the hinge?

Turns out that my hinges don't have these adjustments, which is what the trouble was. This helped clarify the issue.

For full-overlay doors on a cabinet with a face frame (like the ones in your video), should the reveal be the same on all four edges, especially the same on the top and bottom? Or, as I have seen in some examples, should the door be centered left and right, but have 0" (zero inches) reveal on the bottom edge?
I am adjusting the doors on a cabinet over a microwave and I have some cabinets that are stacked, two and three high.
Thx,

My hinge side on the face of the door when it is closed is pushed out further than the hinge side of the cabinet net to it. I have adjust the screws and it won't get any closer. Would I have to reposition the adjustment bracket attached to the cabinet side to get the gap closer. Not sure if my question is making sense.

I have another way, not saying better but I thought I would collaborate. While door closed, look straight at the vertical hinge side to see if the top or bottom hinge needs adjustment to make the door edge flush with the frame. Usually it's the top hinge that needs to be adjusted to pull the door in order for it to be flush with the frame. Once the top and bottom are flush, you are done. It's rare that both hinges need adjustment unless you adjust by alternating looking at the horizontal and then the vertical. Stick with the vertical alignment and the horizontal will be done automatically. Again, usually the bottom is flush and only the top needs the tweak. I love to tweak.

I added shakers to my flat cabinets, and now the doors like scratch as they open. Any advice? Should I get new hinges? Or do I need to make my cabinet doors thinner?

this is only when the door is already closed and the only misalignment. what about when the door doesn't close completely and pops out? I tried adjusting the level and angle and still doesn't close. it's very tight.

It's easy enough to tighten the vertical adjustment screws. The problem is they come loose in a matter of days. Is there a trick to making them tighter?

In my cabinet, there's a gap inbetween (the middle) of the left and right doors. what do i have to do to close that gap?

Mine has these double screws that affix the hinge to the cab. With this little cup area that seats into the arm. The instructions said I have do loosen them all? It looks like you hit the “horizontal” screw but still lifted it 🤔 “not all hinges are created equal” indeed
