Note to people living in the UK - I have Mackintosh hinges on my kitchen cabinets and for fix #2, you need to turn the screws ANTI clockwise.
But agree with other people saying this is the most useful video on youtube with clear instructions. Saved me £100 for a tradie to come and turn a screw a couple of times.

I really appreciate your clear explanations—I am a middle aged woman whose husband doesn’t like to fix stuff around the house so it’s up to me to figure out. This has helped! I don’t think my cabinets are perfect but they are a heck of a lot better. I have one other cabinet that I still can’t figure out— it’s actually an upper and lower that are fixed together with a vertical screw, and that screw that is inside the cabinet doors (on the upper part of the lower door and the lower part of the upper door, holding them together) is looser on one side than the other and they are misaligned. I have no idea how to access this inner screw. Any ideas welcome

Great video. Would like to add that very often if the door is located next to a sink it will often fail to close because of corrosion of the hinge pivot points and spring. Check your other doors and see how much tension they close with. The problem hinges should have about the same amount of force as the others. If they don't, take the door off and spray the the pivot points and springs with wd 40 or electrical contact cleaner. Work the hinges back and forth until they easily snap open and shut. Should be good for another 10 years.

This is a great tutorial! I have a carousel cabinet door that wouldn't close at the bottom but would at the top. Tried to ignore it but couldn't. Although this vid doesn't cover the issue I had, it gave great insight on adjusting hinges to be able to fix it. Thanks for your help 👊
