That Mix node appeared out of nowhere...

It's a good video but you never mentioned how to make the image show up in the background.

Also just mention, a good practice is to 1) light the green separately from the subject and evenly so that there is no hot spots or shadows nor gradient. 2) Stretch it out. Don't just leave the creases/wrinkles in it and think you're doing a good job.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I know the grail is to be a short as pos but, to be a touch over critical I would say slow down just a touch, I have had to watch it 20 times with pauses. Yes and that Mix node did throw me out. Still 9 out of ten and very helpful...Mate!

Easy and simple. I've been working in the compositor a bit more and this helped me learn some good work flow.

thx, not only looks better with more settings than video editor but way easier to do as video editor is rather finicky and half the time don't want to work. just how do you change the starting time of a clip

Wow! I didn't even know you could do this using this compositor. I've seen someone do it using the video sequencer, but from what I remember it seemed more complex than the way you've done it here which is awesome! 😃

I usually deal with green screen in OBS Studio or in an external video editor, but now I can do it in the compositor instead! 😃

Thanks so much my friend!

Let me give you a WOO as you and your loved ones head into the weekend:

Do I render Images or do I render a video? And how does that work? Does transparent videos exist or I need to use images to create a clip inside blender to make transparent work? But yeah thank you for the video!

how did you render the background image at the end of your video?

Successfully followed this short tutorial to remove my green screen. However, in my footage I also have a green guitar... how would you advise me to remove the green screen, but not remove the green guitar?

Doesn't this create an image instead of a video ?

Did this like 3 times n realized you have like 6 things pop up in the screen on the right side of the screen at the end, I tried to render mine out and it just shows the cube and idk why, how do you render this out at the end?
