A good range of choices in each category that indicates the diversity of EV’s available. The Tesla M3 LR is capable over far more than urban roads, but it’s a great city car as well as highway tourer.

Can we have the time to get 150kms of real world range. That would be a better stat as it takes into consideration your efficiency and charging speed. Giving us 10-80% looks bad if you have a big battery.😅

Tesla Model Y is the best selling vehicle in the world.
Somehow it didn't make the cut as a good buy. huh?

Re your comments that the Tesla has the Tesla Charging network as an advantage. I think a more relevant question is " What new EV WON'T have access to the Tesla network?

What about ongoing costs? I have heard that the Tesla is horrible when it comes to insurance, servicing and repairs. Also the Tesla doesn't support Android auto and has a paid subscription to use the digital console.

Bring in the Xiaomi SU7, pro version is just $63, 500 AUD or $42, 000 USD at 0.100kph in 2.7 seconds I will have SU7 instead of a Porsche Taycan sold in Australia for $420, 000 AUD

I heard that Tesla is changing its NiMH battery to the better LFP variety. That way, you can charge to 100% each time, plus LFP batteries are safer.

"Fast charging" "50Kw", that's far from fast charging...

Fireplace on the display has no place in a car. Total nonsense.

Tesla Model 3? Forget that. If you're driving out of a traffic circle and have to turn, the buttons on the steering wheel, which also turn, are total nonsense

Tesla Model 3? Forget that. The software (sign recognition etc.) does not work in Europe. Tesla doesn't have it under control.

Tesla has been caught out before telling lies about “range” to customers and in fact typically most manufacturers exaggerate range by over 30% which is highly misleading to potential customers if not illegal.

Until we the public demand things and get rid of asshole politicians then the EV market along with other issues will be stymied for a long time yet. Went to toyota recently. My choice for a plug in hybrid was one vehicle. Where did all the good people go? I can't put the complete blame on TOYOTA. Governing of countries going down hill fast and the people to blame are the consumers, citizens, mothers, fathers. Complacency it is then.

Who has 40k to buy a cheap electric car? The amount of debt is sickening

these EV's are horrendously over priced - a total rip off to the level of criminal fraud

It pays to drive a lighter car as it needs less energy to move, thus reducing emissions. Electric vehicles are heavy things because the battery makes them so. Sorry to rain on your parade.
