Listen, I learned years ago that I never have to be ashamed to go to God when I sin or miss the mark. And neither do you!

Do not run from God but run to Him when you miss the mark. Guilt brings about shame. While the enemy will try to use shame to get us to hide from God, God uses shame as an alarm to alert us that we've gone too far and need to repent so we can come back to a righteous and Holy place with Him.

God is good. He loves you and is ready to forgive you regardless of what you've done. You can lay your feelings of guilt at His feet (leave them there now) and walk away with joy, knowing that your sins are forgiven and you've been given another chance to live and be free from guilt, shame, or defeat.
