I'm so excited I love all the patterns I looked and the kits are selling like crazy. Almost all the colorways are sold out. But the best part for me is that my Sister Judy and my Daughter Mariana are joining Crochet Academy with me. I taught my daughter when she was young but she hasn't crocheted in years and she doesn't know how to read patterns. My sister is new to crochet. I'm so excited I can't wait.

I've been wanting to make my own tops and now is the perfect time. After a year or so of yarn sensitivity I was able to crochet a hand cloth the other day. Boy have I missed this craft. It is my main coping mechanisms. I would love to have a better understanding choosing the right yarns for each project.

I must say Toni, your videos never fail to put a smile on my face! And with you as a teacher I know my scatter brain will stay engaged. You know, I only found you because I had broken my wrist February 2021and was using the time of the forced crafting hiatus to learn about Tunisian Crochet! That was the most fortunate silver lining in the slip and fall on an icy street, finding your spell binding tutorials.
What I am hoping to accomplish with your Crochet Academy is to better understand where the stitches belong, as it seems a bit of an issue with my projects. Also, English is my second language, and all my crafting skills that I learned were in German instructions, you may need to prepare yourself for some silly questions popping up. :)

This is Nancy I am blind and have been crocheting since 2017 as a blind lady I would love to learn any kind of new stitches because right this time I only do single and double crochet and I do have a collection of hooks and that's about it I made some Africans one shawl and some pot holders and I love to watch your YouTubes and would love to learn more as a blind person you have great videos

Toni -- thank you for sharing the wealth of your knowledge! My biggest challenge in crochet is swatching. Every yarn is different, so it is often a real challenge for me to get the gauge correct. Part of it is the starting chain, but part of it is also holding the hook and yarn consistently. Need a swatching coach!!!

I agree with so many of the comments below. I'm newer to crochet and have been teaching myself thru YouTube. Love watching you so much!! You inspire me so much and make me want to spend all my time crocheting, i just wish i could lol. I really want to learn more about reading patterns, shaping, understanding gauge, learning some Tunisian crochet (love the idea but am intimidated by it) and am especially can't wait to learn the why's behind doing things. I think that will help to motivate me to do them more, as i am an impatient person when it comes to crochet and like to see accomplishments in order to keep motivated. I think thats why I have multiple really looking forward to this chance you have given!!

I have been crocheting since i was 8 about 31years now. i have been struggling with my health (a stroke &2 TIA... ) i am excited for a judgment free refresh on reading some patterns and the stitch along due to health reasons tend to be farless social than most. thank you for doing this Toni i love your videos.
