I’m hopeful, but also completely expecting this game to be a micro transaction hellscape. Monster Hunter Now didn’t exactly set the best example, having a “premium” battle pass and event tickets that you could purchase to hunt monsters earlier than everyone else.

I think my biggest concerns at the moment are can it be played offline and is it coming to other platforms. Those are the most important factors to me, otherwise this game will cease to exist in a few years whenever they decide to pull the plug on it.

….. just saw the trailer, and I have to say…. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CONSOLE GAME. I like the open world idea, but a cell phone shouldn’t have been the place for it. (Seriously, the trailer had FRAMERATE DROPS!!)

If this has underwater combat, this could be an early test of modern monster hunter with underwater as a precursor to the wilds g rank expansion where it could be fully implemented back into mainline with a monster like abyssal lagi.

I feel like the cooler characters may be companions of some kind (considering in that one clip you see like buffs and stuff)... thus going into the obligatory Gacha system.

I say this because this will 99% have a Gacha, and while I hope it's only Layered Armor, I highly doubt it will be. I just hope we don't get Weapons and Armor Gacha tho, coz that just defeats the maim concept of Monster Hunter.

Timi studio’s is part of tensent. And they also made online. I don’t know how it works with the creations that they made for online. If they belong to capcom (this would make sense) or belong to tensent. But this could mean Some things from online coming over. With the rathian looking like conflagration, also something like frenzy btw. But the hope is there. Maybe we can get the electric bug whose name I forgot, litenna or something like that. And astrelion would be cool as well. But honestly I just hope the game doesn’t suck and doesn’t have a membership plans or almost necessary micro transactions for the game to be fun.
