Weirdly, Monster Hunter is actually like the perfect setting for a survival game lol. I wouldn’t be opposed to a fully fledged console/PC game with this change in genre.

Pretty sure theyre planning on making this their fortnite /genshin like, multiplatform game. What i mean is a game that can be accessed by many platforms (a mobile version is the best test for that since its the weakest platform) such as steam users and ipad kids. And any other future gaming product as the trend is going toward streamable multiplayer games that can stand the test of time. Probably free to play with cool items in the store. Fortnite did it with lego. I believe monster hunter is doing this to mitigate for any other companies taking their monster hunting theme and applying it to a survival game template thats worked in the past. Basically avoiding their version of Palworld lol
