I just finished a deal on a 2024 Volkswagen GTI S.
I have to say the information I have learned on this site was invaluable to that negotiation . Things that you don’t have to pay for and should never pay for, etc.. I eliminated a $1500 appearance package and cut in half what they wanted to stick me for the window tinting. I also eliminated a low jack like service..
Retail on the car was 32K .
The add-ons ran the price to 37K . My trade-in was paid off and they actually gave me market value. This was a relatively honest dealership by the way. Very low pressure, even in the finance office, which surprised me. Long story longer I took what would’ve been a 37K price tag and ended up financing only 23K (3000 cash as well to make sure I was under the gap.)
Blah blah maybe I could’ve done better (or worse), but having the knowledge to go line by line over their out the door offer was key. I used terms like “money factor” and “floorplan”, etc. they knew I had done my homework and much of that was by watching videos like yours .
I am happy with the deal and I need to thank you and share the story .

Whats the best way to buy a 4runner and Sienna right now? Should I order one via their website, since there might be not any room to negotiate on these cars? Please advise.

$65K for a BMW 5 series is insane. The problem with those cars, is that you can get a 3yr old version for like half the price of a new one. The depreciation on the Luxury brands is way too high to buy new, unless you are loaded and don't care.

... so there is NO NEED to use CarEdge concierge service to purchase top ten vehicles, right?

be good to know how many vehicles are produced (by model). that would give you how many vehicles will still be on dealers lots

I've been seeing the Hornet local just under $30k and older supply went for around $28k.

I expect the 4Runners flying out the door has something to do with people grabbing 2024s before the turbo 4-cylinder 6th gen 2025 hits the dealer lots (bye-bye beloved 4 liter 6!). A friend that sells at the local Toyota store told me they just sold their last '24 model a few days ago!

What do you think about taking advantage of Nissan buying a Z with all of the bad sales figures.

Looks like the vast majority of Americans want reliable and affordable cars like Japanese/Korean cars.

Toyota is doing inventory control by limiting production, but that leads to another issue, if you don't have cars/suv's that people want, then they go somewhere else to buy. I went looking at the new Lexus SUV today and they want 10k over sticker, but they don't have any on the lot. The 4Runner is selling because people are grabbing them up because they don't want the new one! Quite a conundrum they've created.

I'm surprised the Camry or any Hondas weren't included in the fasted selling cars

Good luck trying to find a Toyota Corolla hatchback. There are 4 within a 500-mile radius of where I live.

Disagree with the thoughts on MINI. The interior is quirky and fun. I’ve been in one. The tech is also amazing,

i do wonder how Nissan didnt get on the list of slowest selling vehicles? i hear they have had a large slowdown in sales? like %30 or more, course its possible that there are almost no vehicles on dealer lots?

More like a mix of fastest selling and scarcity or slowest selling and abundance. I mean, if I took all year to make one car and it sold in 1 day, would it be #1 on the list of fastest selling car, even if singular?

Maybe this should be presented as top 10 list of most overproduced and most underproduced vehicle rankings, as opposed to fastest or slowest selling.

Aren't the Toyota rankings seminartificial due to Toyota really limiting them amount of cars they are putting on the market?
