I remember the first time I watched this I was 9 years old back in 2010 with my dad, we bought a bunch of vhs’s from an old video store and popped signs in and man it scared the shit out of me, all these years later I still have to prepare myself when I watch it, it’s an absolute amazing film and these opening titles instantly get you hooked while also making you shit your pants!

This is one of the most brilliantly composed movie intros ever. The score alludes to the impending story, emotion and pace that this movie is about to take you on. All done in 1:39. Utterly, suspenseful, intense, and genius.

This film's music is excellent. The tone and style give us a perfect mix of mystery and sci-fi.

I have no proof, but I get the feeling a sequel for this movie is coming in the next few years. Joaquin Phoenix is at the top of his game. He's been my favorite actor since "SIGNS" came out in 2002. I was 6 when it came out. 28 now. My favorite movie of all time along with "JOKER." We live in really crazy times and there's been a re-ignited interest in the supernatural & paranormal.

Imagine the aliens returning with military veteran Merrill ready to take another swing. Imagine how scary a modern day "SIGNS" sequel could be. They have to honor the first movie however by telling a tale that strikes at something thematically resonant. I'd go ahead and follow the theory that they are demons and reveal that in the sequel. No shortage of that kind of activity going on in our society or in the world.

There's a lot going on you could work with and be completely original.
