Ogres, pandas, lions and chickens. No, not a list of my romantic conquests but a rundown of the cast of characters brought to us by those folks at Dreamworks. But come with us now as we take you through just where it came from, what its brought us and some of the secrets of its films along the way, including a penguin-style reference to Shakespeare. Yep, it's that highbrow. Like comment subscribe and motherfactor your way through THIS - it has a LOT of layers. Like onions.

It would be pretty hard for disney to sue Dreamworks considering the fact that most Disney films are based on books. Disney has very few original characters.

Since you've done Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks, you may as well do Ghibli.

You also could have mentioned, while the movie toothless isn't toothless the dragon took the name from the book version, who was the size and color of a terrible terror and actually toothless. The flimsy excuse they made up in the movie to keep the name wasn't all that great but regardless I am happy they kept it. They also should have kept Camicazi and thrown Astrid out. She was the female lead in the books, and while she is younger then hiccup and quite small she is extremely strong, fearless and able to pull off feats that make her entire tribe proud (managing to steal Stoics underpants for one) The difference between the two girls is that Camicazi believed in Hiccup most of the time that she's known him and harbored a crush for him long before Hiccup harbored any feelings for her. She also had a dragon named Stormfly, but like the book toothless it was small, and it's abilities less impressive; it changed colors based on it's moods.

If you can't tell I'm a big fan of the books. I loved the first how to train your dragon as well but Astrid's role never made sense to me. She's a strong female, but the entire movie she treats hiccup like crap, ignoring him, tuning in with his other bullies and later freaking out at him several times when he happens to do better then her in the school. Then she discovers toothless and threatens to out him, and one dragon ride in the sunset makes her fall in love with hiccup and makes hiccup forget that Astrid was a total bitch to him, cause you know, she's hot and boners. Makes no sense what so ever. If you want to have a strong female character how about one that wins the hero over for more then her good looks and popularity.

Toothless is called toothless because when Hiccup first saw him he thought he had no teeth but realised his teeth was retractible
