How to force firmware updates on Huawei & Honor devices [Firmware Finder]

What you need?

1. Charged phone
2. Enabled installing unknown apps
3. Download Firmware Finder from Google Store (the free version)

what next?

1. Run Firmware Finder
2. Go to settings and Enable Installation via system update.
3. Tool will prompt to download Firmware Finder Proxy - do it then install it
4. Go back to the tool and select firmware of your choice - make sure you select FULL (not OTA)
5. Firmware Finder Proxy window will open - do as described - go to Wifi, advanced add manual proxy as local host with 8080 port
6. Go to phone settings - system update and choose three dots to download full package
7. update should start to download then follow as on screen instructions

Why?? i download firmware finder from playstore and get stuck at step 2. WTF!!

Hard bricked, impossible to recovery.
Suggestion: The best firmware is that you is already using.

Bro plz help i downloaded the update in honor 9n via settings system update then i clicked quick update then it say system errors please try again later then after some time i tried then it shows you need to downpoad again then i press ok after c

Don't try and waste your data. It won't work. Once the download finishes, it says unauthorised package

Didn't work. Nothing works. I need the update so I can use my SD card but no methods have worked. Period. Every time I click on one of those things, it says error, it must have been taken down off the server or something like that. I'm getting rly ticked because I'm running out of storage and I don't have enough to get the apps I need.
