I just finished a time of walking alongside my sister as she was going through her season of saying goodbye to this life and all that she loved in it. She was diagnosed with incurable cancer, and she was given 7 months to live. She faced each of her remaining days with such joy, courage, and expectancy, that I was always being blown away and in awe. She had a wonderful life, but she was so grateful for the time she had been given. Perspective is indeed everything. She said goodbye on January 16th and sweetly flew away from us, ready to welcome her new reality and world. Walking along with her during those months have given me the courage to face that more bravely when my time comes to depart, which it of course will. I felt a pang of sadness as I watched your final video from this lovely cottage; like others have commented, it is strange since I've never physically been there. Alas, you have kindly brought us along on your journey, and you did such a good job sharing it with us that we feel a part; that is special. I look forward to continuing onward as you begin a new phase and season. Thank you for creating such wonderful and peaceful content and allowing me to partake of it.

Last year I moved from my most favorite home in my life after 21 years of living there. The home was filled with memories of raising my children, welcoming my grandchildren, gardening, cooking, hiking nearby and small town community. I used to look at that home as my best friend, she kept us warm and safe and we in turn filled her rooms with laughter and tears. The good bye process was very emotional. This video really hit a cord. I wish you the best on your new adventure.

You have given me so much in one of the most difficult years of my life; the drawing and painting, the baking, the walks, the making of teas, the bunny and the dog, the fairies, stories of your family and especially your grandmother. These were not small things. They were comforting. Your narratives were inspiring and you should publish them as an essay. I lost my sister, my boss and a new friend I was making at work. I have never experienced so much death.. All in 2021. And then, when the year was almost over I was diagnosed with cancer and was operated on in December. How I loved your Christmas videos. I work in a bookstore too. All year I would wait for a new video. I am the one who just wrote to you about the fairies 🧚‍♂️ in my back yard. You kept me going this year. I have suffered with anxiety and depression for so very long. I understand recovery. I understand transition. I will pray for you and will wait until you are ready to come back. If not, that is ok. I honestly have always believed that every home that shelters us has a guardian spirit! I lived in my last home for twenty one years and raised my two sons there after my divorce. I moved last April from Connecticut to Texas, and I thanked my old home for watching over me and my boys in all that time and keeping us safe. Not going to lie, I cried. I will always remember that home fondly, but I was very excited for the new life and adventures to come in my new home in Texas!!
