How To Fix Soft Low Resolution and Pixelated Edges in Photoshop

Fix those horrible soft low resolution and pixelated edges with Adobe Photoshop. Quick and easy Photoshop tutorial on how to fix low resolution and pixelated edges when you upscale an image in Photoshop. We use Adobe Photoshop to sharpen those soft pixelated edges and restore any logos, icons and other images with soft transparent edges.

Nice fix! ***Couple of notes in order for this to work properly:
1- PNG must be solid white and be large (think 4000x4000 pixels or more, 300dpi). So upscale your PNG if you need to.
2- Must have a color background (with transparent, it blurs at render). So create a solid black layer as background.Then merge all the layers and add a layer mask to mask out the black.
3- Now you can render with a transparent background and your design will have (fairly) clean edges.

Can I do this with a transparent background? When I hide the background, the curves adjustment goes away and it's blurry again

Unfortunately this drastically changes the color when you use the curves tool.

I just love this technique minus the curves, to sharpen up a bit I used the texturizer sandstone but canvas is also good

Thank you! I will say this doesn't work on a more complex logo with multiple colors on white - or maybe mine is just too small? It looks terrible in a different way now. But this is good to know for simple shapes.

So if you were just the curves, it's going to change the color, so why would you suggest this method?

Ctrl + Shift + Alt + C ( Will not ruin pixels after Transform ) and Nearest Neighbor in preferences, and You are all set

Yeah try doing that with color pics though and it's useless.

But in my crack Photoshop All images fonts custom shapes typography all are drawn blurry and not look smooth....when I apply this method it does not work well why. Anyone plz tell me solutions 😢😢
