Is my dog seeing a Ghost?!

(PLEASE bare with me...I know it's a tad long, but SO worth it! And there's a question at the end concerning a pair of cursed items, so be sure to read it all and then see it, or at least scroll down!)

So my dog Gir is somewhere between occasionally-often sitting on the edge of my bed with his hair all on end growling at a corner in my room or at my closet, but he RARELY barks at it. But THIS time...this time it went on for over an HOUR & A HALF. Hair on end, teeth bared, snarling and for ONCE in his life he wouldn't even stop when offering his FAVORITE treat. He even lost his voice for a bit after that. I had to take him out of the room it was getting so bad. And he WASN'T happy with me getting anywhere NEAR my bathroom.
I know animals can see things humans can't, and he is used to our harmless house #ghost we've nicknamed #Peeves from #HarryPotter cuz he's just an annoying mischievous lil shit. But this time...THIS time guys... it was BAD, like REALLY bad. The whole energy in the room was just...off. He'd even start to go into my bathroom but would VERY suddenly skid on the tile floor while hauling ass outta there... like SOMETHING was coming at him.
That being said... There IS an #EVIL mf that travels from house to house, sibling to sibling and occasionally my Mom n Papa Bear's house. My family, from generation to generation, has always been somewhat of a magnet for the paranormal ...so it begs the Question...WHAT was Gir getting all hysterical over? What do YOU think? #Ghost or no #Ghost?
