You can say what you want but I'm just glad it exists. Yes, it's heavy, the front isn't exactly pretty but it's not another M version of an SUV.
It's fast estate car and you just have to appreciate it.

A real shame that they've ditched the rear window opening. Also the boot space is the same as the M3 which is unacceptable - it should be 600 litres at least. The drive train is epic though.

The thing I love about the RS6 is the massive wheel arches, it’s like a monster on its haunches. Harder to tell in this video and the lighting, but the M5 could do with a bit of a shoulder workout.

It looks fat. The front end is hideous. I can’t grasp the recent bmw design language. Compare this design to the rs6 and panamerra and it’s night and day.

It’s absolutely hideous.
The m3 touring is a far more poised design.

I was really hoping this would look amazing. I'm absolutely gutted that it doesn't, it's not a patch on the RS6 and I'm a BMW fanboy. WTF are you doing BMW? The potential was massive but the outcome is disappointing to say the least.😭

Just doesn't look like an M car, doesn't even look like an M lite. Just looks like an electric car, I don't think this will sell well at all because they're not appealing to the target market. I get it though, they are easing us into having fully electric M cars.

The latest M2 doesn’t have the carbon shifter paddles. Since the recent facelift they’ve gone back to the silver ones you get in a standard 220i
