I think those modular guides are nifty. A lot of use cases I can think of off the top of my head just for those square grids

I found the shape builder being able to work on raster images very interesting. Also new snapping behavior that solves 100% of my issues with grids.

If you don't like your icons on the right, you can restore them to the top by going to the View menu > and deselecting Wide Screen.

The ability to move the Command Bar to the right isn't new. It's been around at least since 1.3. The UFB and Filter Library are definitely nice additions. I keep hoping my suggestion of being able to flow text between Text Objects will emerge. This would make Inkscape a usable DTP system.
