HR will take the bully side. Never go to HR useless you want to get fired.

1. Call a time-out and ask for clarity around the disconnect ( it halts the crazy making and makes the gaslighter explain)
2. Make them own what they are saying, ….make them explain exactly what they meant by what they said
3. Keep a record of all the interactions with the gaslighter so you have concrete specifics of what happened
4. Go to HR with the actual evidence or if they do nothing, get the heck out of there
