I wish I could afford an appt with you. I’m exhausted with medical doctors who don’t listen and aren’t aware of MCAS. Thanks for these videos anyway! I enjoy hearing the info you provide.

Someone I care about deeply has all of the symptoms of MCAS - even more if I could be so bold. Itching, swelling, facial flushing, throat closing, ear aches, headaches/migraines, red bumps on their skin, wheezing, hives, lung constriction, blood pressure problems, severe stomach issues... weakness, vomiting, anaphylaxis. Being allergic to most antibiotics, steroids, and asthma inhalers, Benadryl is one of our only "safe" routes even though we know it is not actually good. Crisis often leads to compromise though, and when the person you love is fine one minute and lying on the floor the next, you have to respond quickly. Their triggers range from food related (it is easier to list safe foods than the ones which cause a reaction), temperature related (especially warm weather), fragrance related (cleaning supplies, cigarettes, perfumes, campfires, deodorant...), and insect related (almost any bug you can think of) to the seemingly out-of-nowhere related. That being said, most any Quercetin supplement (including HistoRelief) is paired with stinging nettle or other plant based derivatives. We know almost anything plant related (pine, oak, maple, thistle, mushroom, etc.) is a trigger. There are days we do not even know what causes a reaction, and a day without any reactions still ends with a headache and other symptoms (histamine buildup). We have been searching for answers for years while using Claritin, Benadryl, and Zyrtec as a last resort when vitamin water and potassium is not enough. I would really appreciate your thoughts. I know you cannot give official advice because we are not your patients. I will take whatever you are willing to offer with a grain of salt and weigh it against what we know. ❤ Now that I have written all of that out, I would like you to know it is by God's grace we have made it this far. I even know what I believe to be the initial trigger for their MCAS because it is always connected to physical or mental trauma (the mind/body connection). I am asking for your thoughts on Quercetin because I want them to have a better quality of life. They are a fighter - bouncing back from several reactions a week with joy and grace and hope. I wish with all my heart for them to be healed. At the end of the day, we are only human though. We have limitations and mysteries which cannot be explained by human knowledge. Whether in this life or the one to come, my loved one will be healed because they have put their trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. No matter what, we have peace. I pray that you too may know without a shadow of the doubt how deeply you are loved. Every hurt can be redeemed at the feet of the King.

This gives me hope! I never knew of such an illness. But I’ve pretty much diagnosed myself given my GP just ignored my concerns… looking forward to my first appt with a functional dr who specialises in HI next week 🙌🏽

I have 677 MTHFR I’m sure that plays a role but I have to watch my oxalates and my salicylic acid because they contribute to my histamine intolerance. I’ve had it for years and didn’t know it until last May, when I had an anaphylactic breathing episode of three in the morning while I was sleeping. Which resulted in going to the doctor and getting an EpiPen which I’m glad did. However, I didn’t find out the oxalate salicylic acid connection for a while after that.

When one goes through this debilitating syndrome it gets to the point where you trust nothing and it seems like trying to find a needle in the haystack.

I'm so glad I came across your videos today!! Thank you so much!! I just seen two different doctors today. Without getting any answers. After watching a few of your videos I realize now what could have triggered mine. I'm new to this so I have no idea where to start or what to do differently.

Mine is due to antibiotics used
Nothing help’s because I can’t tolerate supplements or probiotics. FMT enema and peptides help a bit

Have you ever heard of high histamine levels being caused by prolonged consumption to lots of caffeine? I was absorbing way too much caffeine (energy drinks, pre-workout powders, etc) for a while, and I think this has caused my histamine levels to skyrocket. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!

I have been on a low histamine diet with my baby since she was diagnosed with eczema at 6 months. Thank God I came across an IG account that gave me light. My daughter's eczema has been clearing more than those prescribed medications (steroids) she is less itchy now. She still itches but not as much as before. I'm trying to heal her gut since she was exposed to v4xs. I believe that that might have been the cause of it or at least some. I'm not against v4x but if your baby is not high risk, it may be better to hold some. I did it out of the fear that she might caught some illness but Idk. I read in a Canadian article that they do not recommend certain v4x if the child is not high risk.

What about allergic histamine reactions to stings? Bee, mosquito flee bites? Poison Oak/ ivy? How does supporting my gut reduce my severe reactions to these skin affected problems? I do have severe histamine intolerance to high histamine foods but have my supplement routine so I can have a more normal diet.

I have been struggling with cold urticaria for 3 years now out of the blue. I’m 32 in the gym 4x week 6’ 160. My doctor said I’m “full of histamine” as she scratched my forearm and watched it turn red pretty fast. She said just avoid cold water, but I love to swim. Is there anything you can recommend for me. Thank you for everything you do!

I was born with low DAO and have had this all of my life so I do have to stay on a low histamine diet. My siblings have it too.

Do you happen to have a list of low or high histamine foods I should eat or avoid?
