Excellent- I have some quite bad rust patches on my mini and needs some work but thankfully I have a gasless mig welder and this video to help me in the summer- thank you very much for the superb video

Many thanks for including some quick notes at the bottom on what you're spraying and what you're doing! For instance, I didn't even realize "Weld through" primer is a type of primer I should be looking for if I am going to be welding on it. For me as the viewer, little details like make the video not only a satisfying compilation of hard work, but also a realistic and approachable tutorial I could follow. Again it's a little detail but I wanted to point it out so that you know some of us appreciate it and find it helpful!

Wish i still had my TR7 feel like I could learn so much watching you and definitely have the confidence to tackle the rust on it just makes you realise you don’t need to buy expensive bad fitting panels

7.25: Advanced techniques like CAD on display there. Cardboard Aided Design 😊
8.30: anyone who’s trimmed sheet metal using Tinsmen’s Snips acknowledges Steve’s wrist strength is exceptional. He makes it look like trimming card. It isn’t. I’ve such a tool & i often resort to a cut off wheel instead when I’m making brackets.

Great work - helpful for when I start mine - what tool are you using to grind the welds in the corners of the panels?

It just occurred to me that the Mini is almost as old as old as me, and in all that time how many people have worked on these little rot boxes patching up the many holes but not many of theme did it as well as you do - excellent work

What better way to showcase the new shop, than by working on a Mina! To me, alongside a Moggie and a BSA, HRD/ Norton or AJS motorcycle, they are the most iconic and recognised British cars. Great work as usual and love the series. Would these patch repairs be prior to the British MOT inspection?

Nice work on the a-panel! that bit right at the end on the rear arch, the seam cover has been left on, they have a small section of steel U shaped that pops over the two meeting flanges. I think you've created another flange on top of this finisher piece.

Steve, is there more to come on the Mini, or did you put your video energies elsewhere?
Love seeing you work on these cars!
Cheers, Mike
