I had a friend in high school and his parents always watched their language, but I went back over there over the summer to catch up and now that it's just them they're not so careful, which was jarring but also hilarious. So I don't think that's too unusual. This was great!

Your story about arguing is hilarious!! Learning to argue with the spouse is a part of the marriage journey. The pandemic transformed me into a homebody as well.

Your answers were great, and you made me laugh a lot. My favorite childhood books were the Laura Ingalls Wilder series! The Garth Williams illustrations are so dear to me! Yes, Minnesota is the greatest! I grew up in Minneapolis! My folks eventually moved us to SoCal, but at least the best part of growing up was in Minnesota. Yea me! Haha.😁

I really like this tag and think I might try it out. I also loved the Little House Books and Gone with the Wind even though I’m kinda like WTF when I think about them now. But I agree, we can’t unlike something we have personal connections with, but I think we can look at the problematic things now as a way to examine any unknown biases we might have.
