Emma swears, speaks Spanish, is incredibly smart, races like a demon, and can pull off wearing 2 pairs of glasses... she is too good for us!

At Trek Segafredo the riders are kings -- at Sunweb, team members ...

Emma you're putting the fellas to shame with your multilingual presenting skills. But if you ever get stuck on how to pronounce parts of Canada, ask Dan, he's an expert.

GCN crew; Fan for many years now. I must say, the cinematography, editing, and general "feel" of this video is a notch above the others. Whoever is doing that over there, kudos to you and keep up the excellent work.

I'm glad to see a woman with the GCN team, very professional and speaks Spanish-Italian, good point. So, another reason to be a fan of GCN show.

Very interesting video. I learned a lot. Keep in mind that this question is very different for a time trial or when one of us mere mortals is out riding by ourselves. The pros can now pick based on feel for most stages because the weight difference is negligible and when you’re riding in the peloton aerodynamics of the bike aren’t as important. So, it would come down to preferences for them but there is probably a different answer for our everyday rides, depending on the circumstances.

I think it is insane how much the industry has come in 15 years.

Looks like these days, with a large company like Giant and using racing wheels - the proteams can get to 6.8 without going with extreme parts.

Really enjoyable video there... Didn't totally answer your own question there but kind of good to know that the aero side of things which the manufacturers always say is the most important thing, when it comes to road stages then the riders are more concerned with feel and comfort! I guess that the weight limit does make it more of a leveler in that respect and its cool to know that even aero bikes are still very close to the UCI weight limit! Thanks for the great video Emma and keep them coming!

I'll take a lightweight, comfortable and responsive bike any day. Aero helps, but if it is weight penalty you can drop this function. The most problems with aero drag it's not with the bike, it's with the rider. Make an wind invisible cloth and you revolutionize the sport.
