you can also do a pitch detection in edison or open the wave candy in spectrum go to settings and scale all the way to the right(enlarge the spectrum so you can see).hover mouse on notes

A better way is to ; while in piano roll place a random note anywhere and pitch it up two octaves .

Find the note that matches the bass notes in whatever melody you're sampling ( using your ears )

Youve now found the key of that sample .

I put Maximus on a sample and solo the lows, and click bands and slide the low frequencies knob to focus on sometimes 100hz or 61hz and below. *Then i raise the post volume knob up to hear everything* Then i go to my bass/808 and do the whole raise/lower the octave while trying to match the notes you hear from the sample running through Maximus, only focusing on the lows of your sample 🔥

U can just right click the channel in ur timeline and consolidate it so u dont have to open up edison and record it
