I had this problem until I held the ps4 power button until I hear two beeps and it will take you to a screen with many options. I picked check software update and installed it with internet and when it restarted, the WiFi worked.

Go to network settings and on connect to internet. What worked for me was disconnect, reconnect disconnect reconnect. Thanks for that. Spread the word

I have a different issue. Sometimes when I turn on my ps4 it says I need to connect to the internet and the only way to fix it is by disconnecting the Lan cable until it says it’s connected.

Wired connection also isn’t working. I restarted both router & ps4. I even data base rebuild my ps4. The internet works every where else in the hous except my PS4 & I’m the closest to the router. I need help!!

EVERYONE I just tried this and it does work but before you start everything you have to make sure to do 5g instead of 2.4g so it works this is an important step so u have to go to network then on ur network clip the options button of ur controller then switch to 5g then after proceed to do the steps on these videos

I had gotten fiber internet instead of xfinity, and couldnt connect afterwards forever, tried all of this, nothing worked. Finally had a random idea to get a range extender, not that it was needed, and viola connected immediately to the range extender and in turn to the fiber internet. It is working again no issues connected to the range extender.
