My name is Dennis aka Lao Ocean (also aka Dr. Wtpho, but more about that later) and I'm a Lao American YouTuber based in Seattle, WA (since 1980). I've wondered where you have been?
I'm fighting cancer myself and find myself I'm a so called skilled nursing facility, hoping for a miracle. My parents were originally from the West Seattle area. I was born near Portland. My dad was born in Tacoma. My great-grandfather lived on Mercer island. My dream after my parent's death was to live on Bainbridge Island or maybe one of the other islands. I so enjoy your videos. They bring me so much comfort and peace. Again, my condolences

I'm sorry to hear about losing your mom to cancer. I'm a fellow cancer patient, and just returned from a trip to Seattle, where I was contemplating next treatment path.
Please know I/we appreciate your YT vids, as they are so helpful at getting to know the area. I watched all your walking vids, and yet was still surprised how hilly the streets are- definitely got multiple workouts in.

I am so sorry to hear of your lost lao ocean, I lost my mom to cancer in 2017, She did not suffer long with It but she did get to have her 82 birthday and she was there with us for that but died about two days latter. It been a few years and it still hard. grieve if helps not to pretend to feel any way just to go with the roller coaster of emotions that come from losing your mother

Very sorry for your loss Dennis. If your videos are any indication, she raised a wonderful son. I've been caring for a very sick elderly parent too and dreading what's ahead.
