She wasn't crying for a solo she was crying because of the pressure her mom was putting on her and the pressure of the moms always attacking her.

She wasn't crying because she didn't get a solo. She was crying because she was being singled out. Literally EVERYBODY ELSE got one. She was probably really embarrassed. It's true that some of the other girls would go long periods of time without getting solos, but they were never the ONLY ones. They had friends who also didn't get solos. They weren't alone. It amazes me that people can't see that this is why Maddie was crying.

I think Melissa forgets she has a second kid sometimes. Even in some interviews, she says she has to look out for her KID. Not kid(S).

Omg she wasnt crying about the solo she was crying because she was the only one that didn't get a solo. She was 9 or 10 in this. The solos meant that abbby valued you and Maddie thought that Abby didn't love her any more

Maddie technically wasn’t crying because of the solo, but because she was stressed confused. She was being pressured by both Abby and Melissa (mostly Melissa in this video) she’s basically stressing out because of all the confusion and pressure being put on her. You can clearly tell cause she was getting teary eyed before Abby told her no.
