Such a fun video to make. To have to dig back through my entire back catalogue for the very best of the best at this price. Some watches have gone up in price by maybe 60 or 70% in 8 years, whereas others are still the same as they were in 2016/2017. What did I miss? Is there scope for a part 2? Cheers, Jody

"If this is your first time here..." Run away😮, before you know it you'll be buying reasonably priced watches, regularly 😢. Your future will be paved with your disposable income turning into your next watch and your eyes judging other people's wrist wear.

I'm pretty fond of the Addiesdive 1000m puck you reviewed 5 mos ago, i immediately bought one after your review. I've never had more curiosity or conversations about an > $80 watch. amazing value for money and a real head-turner.

I currently own 6 out of the 20. Vostok Amphibia, Pagani Speedy, Sea-Gull SS, Casio Duro, Casio AE1200, Casio GA2100

I agree with all your picks but my wife reminds me that if I want them all 20 X $75 average is $1500. Maybe I'll buy one at a time and she won't notice.

Would love a part 2! This is the first of your videos I’ve sat down with and I’ve already added 5 watches to my wish list

I had an Invicta Pro Diver automatic that I wore just about everyday for about 5 years. A friend of mine always admired it so I finally gave it to him about a year ago. It’s still running great.

Timex is the obvious omission here. The Expedition line are great field watches as are many of their other offerings.

Seeing the six year old video of your review of the Casio MRW200, it's amazing how young your wrist looked back then, Jody. 😮 More on topic, in my book the Casio AE1200 is the best travel watch on the planet regardless of price.

Cool that you included Vostok Amfibia.

That was the Steve Zissou Amphibia even. One of my favorites.

I have the Guanqin watch and I put longer dauphine hands in it and it looks great. Also the twelve sided bezel is from tungsten steel and after four years there's not one scratch on it. The case is 316L steel and it's scratched ofcourse. One of the best deals on Ali. Great video Jody. Love your content.

Militado would have been worth a mention, I just got an ML08 which is a Murph homage for £45. They're well made and look fantastic, very impressed.

Recently got the Cadisen Aqua white dial and it is a belter for under £50

I have a bertucci a1-s, the steel case one, after getting bored with my square g and wanting an analog. Just over $100 but it’s been super comfortable, durable, and accurate. Loses ~10 sec every few months but I think it’s an absolute steal if you need a tough watch or gshock alternative. Can’t recommend enough!

If I didn't already have a SD1970 I'd say the Casio Duro is the best cheap Holiday Dive watch out there. But the SD1970 is just mental value for money. I paid less than £60 Inc import tax last year. The quality is better than my SKX and the Lume is insanely good. You just can't beat this watch as a cheap auto diver..Just buy one you won't be disappointed....

Bought the SD1970 on a rubber strap a few weeks ago. Wears much smaller than I envisioned on my 7.5" wrist. I think a 7" wrist would work. Great watch! With US tax $50!

I copped the all red casioak for 120 Pacific Pesos ($82 US) from a City Beach outlet bricks and mortar shop. Gotta get creative for your budget watch shopping in Australia!

Great list as always. It's fun finding decent watches at a bargain. I would add: Casio MTD1053 steel 200m quartz diver at 60 EUR, Chameri King Seiko hommage with sweeping Seiko quartz at 55 EUR, Tandorio 38mm military NH35A automatic with sunburst dial & rubber strap at 50 EUR, Addiesdive 1000m NH35A automatic diver at 80 EUR, Berny 37mm titanium sweeping Seiko quartz military style at 53 EUR, Parnis 2989 41mm small seconds with SeaGull automatic at 80 EUR.

You have to wonder why any of us spend more than $100 on any watch (with the exception of Erebus Watches of course)! Thanks for the great list as always. Work has been kicking my ass for a couple months now, but I always manage to sneak in your videos, and I will be surreptitiously checking my email this weekend! Thankfully my work phone and personal phone are both iPhones. 🤫
