Fix Other User Login Screen

Login screen says other user how do I fix? Can't log in, Other User. I show you how to fix Other User on windows. To fix other user you have to boot to command prompt and punch in some commands. It is that easy to fix Other User.

1- Hold shift while clicking reboot.
2- Click troubleshoot.
3- Advanced Options
4- See More Recovery Options
5- Start up Settings
6- Restart
7- Hit '4'
8- press 'windows button' & 'r' on keyboard
9- Type 'cmd' hit enter
10- Type 'net user administrator active:yes'
11- Type 'net user administrator password123'
12- reboot, log into administrator account using password123.

I install a custom made Windows 10 OS with NTLite. I installed it on my drive, and was met with "other account". So, what I had to do was go into Safe Mode, add my account (make it administrator), set my password, and then I could log in normally. This video helped me out a lot.

Dude.... you saved my I simply did a Windows 10 update and the dam thing locked me out by not letting me even see my own User ID, just said OTHER which I had never used thus did not have a password for it. Your simple method worked and it saved my ass! THANK YOU !

i got this PC from my sister, I restarted it and it saw the other user thing, I had a laptop before and knew this was definitely not supposed to happen, so it was confusing. but you explained this crystal clear and I can't thank you enough for it !

To anyone still confused after you do net user administrator <password> command, you reboot the pc and should be able to login as administator in NON safe mode. When you are logged in you can do the other command he first showed to add a new user, or do it manually.
