If you were asked what can give your life happiness and meaning, you might have many ideas that cross your mind but most likely you wouldn’t have thought of a mysterious word called ‘Ikigai’. But this might surprise you because this mysterious word is actually a Japanese secret to a happy and meaningful life.

Come and understand the simple meanings of this mysterious word, ‘Ikigai”, why it is needed in our lives to make our days meaningful and happy and how can you find your own ‘ikigai’ like how Chloe Wong Zi En found hers. Chloe Wong Zi En was a girl who didn't have the best experience when she was in primary school and due to that, she grew up having the thought that life was bleak and meaningless. But in one moment of her life, a small little event was able to change it all and now found the colours and meanings in her life which is to learn as much as she can and one day help people around the world to learn knowledge. She hopes that through her talk people can know what is Ikigai and never forget its existence. Then maybe one day, you can find your very own Ikigai and live a joyful life.

A lot of "successful" and attractive kids and students would just ignore your speech and go on the road of egoistic self-betterment and self-destruction. It seems natural, caused by nature, but I don't know why, perhaps by laws of survival of the fittest?
