Hi Amy what I do on a double layer cake, put the rounded part on the bottom, frost the top and put the flat cake on the frosted part with the rounded part on the top. Just a suggestion!❤️

My mom called and asked if I wanted to go and hit up a few thrift stores, and of course, I said yes!!! I found a few cookbooks and I almost squealed when I seen on the shelf, the fannie farmer cookbook😍 I've been reading through it tonight when I decided to get on YouTube and I seen you had posted a new video. I'm going to be trying this recipe as well this week. I'm so excited!I also found the American family cookbook copyright 1950😍 I love going through old used cookbooks and thinking about all the hands of cooks they have been in and all the stories and memories have been made from cooking through the cookbooks. Sometimes I get bad place where I'm not so happy about getting in my kitchen but then with wonderful people like y'all sharing your love for all things in the kitchen it inspires me and gets me out of the funk lol Thanks again for sharing your love of cooking, cookbooks, and of course kitchen gadgets, cookware and everything in between 💞 Hope y'all are having a wonderful week💞

Hi Amy and Eric, Wow that two sided flex beater is Amazing! I need that for my KitchenAid Tilt Head Mixer. I have used Cocoa Apiwder instead of flour to dust the pan. The best thing to use on pans for no stick is Butter Flavor Crisco. Thanks for sharing this wonderful Chocolate Cake recipe.❤️

Yay, Fannie Farmer That cake looks great. I got a Beater Blade for my Hobart A-200 20 quart! That cake looks delicious. My 20 quart beater blade has removable scrapers and a spare replacement set Happy Birthday Eric .... Ridem' Cowboy !!!! Good Video, Great Ending !!!!

I have the original KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater for both of my Stand Mixers. My Tilt Head, I did have to buy it separately, my Pro 600 on the other hand it came with one when I bought it from QVC.

They’re good but sometimes, they tend to leave a holo ring at the top of the bowl. I wonder would the BeaterBlade do the same?

You made Matilda’s chocolate cake. 😂 You did a good job for someone who doesn't decorate. You should have flipped the top cake layer upside down to make the cake look less domed.
