How North Africa Became White Washed : The Truth Exposed!!!

Показать описание
For many centuries, North Africa shared the same predominantly black African demographic as the rest of the continent. In this video, we explore the transformation of this region into its present-day ethnic composition, which includes a significant Arab and Berber population.

The common perception that "North Africa is white" is a simplification that overlooks the region's diverse ethnic history and the substantial black African influence on the civilizations of Egypt and the Maghreb. While it's true that parts of North Africa, such as Libya and southern regions of Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco, retain a strong indigenous African presence, the broader notion of North African "whiteness" is a more recent development in the area's long history.

I am a Berber and my heart is in Africa. I might have a diverse background and brown skin, but I feel closer to the african heritage than any other culture.
We are all brothers and sisters and share more than just the skin color in my opinion

Great video, you hit a ton of great points.

I think it’s also important to note how the Trans-Saharan slave trade performed by the Arabs involved castrating enslaved Africans helped contribute to the lighter population by eliminating Male Africans ability to reproduce for centuries

we are Amazigh Berbers our ethinicity isn't about color that's an American way to look into history "white history Black history ...etc)
we don't care we would be proud neither if we're white or black
bcz we're the region that enslaved both and received both immigration from the south and north

Shakespeare cast Othello as a black Moor. That is the way I always considered Moors. I must admit that I never considered the implications concerning north Africa and Moorish Spain, but I never thought of north Africans as lily white and the pictures of white women from the Mahgreb were completely foreign to me.

What happened to North Africa also happened to now Arabia. The invaders from the North Kingdoms displaced & enslaved the original indigenous native people.

My sweetheart’s maternal line is from Morocco and they are Black. Some dark brown and some light-skinned brown like myself. My sweetheart is dark brown. His paternal line is from the Middle East and they too are Black! Meeting him has given me an expanded history of Africa from those places that are always omitting the Black presence due to anti-Black racism and sentiment. Thanks for talking about this topic! ✊🏾

What’s funny is every single civilization who encountered the North African Berber never displayed or talked about them as being « black skin » or similar to other subsaharan civilizations. Not the Romans, not the early Egyptians, not the Rashidun, nor the Iberians. Anyway Idk why colour is so important to you Americans. The Touaregs of the deserts are darker than the amazigh or rifs in the atlas chains yet could all be considered Berbers.

The Modern Egyptians get upset and angry when anyone refers to the ancients as blk. They have even denied access to archeological sites for any country depicting them as blk, but what should one expect. It would be interesting if they come back as someone/something they don't like, in the afterlife.

It’s natural that people don’t want to acknowledge their ancestors are victims and aggressors of slavery sametime.

This is the part that I keep pointing out whenever I see a post that portrays a Berber as white. The indigenous Berbers are black.

for the record the ancient egyptians depicted the berbers as light skin, the romans depicted them as light skin and so on, berbers come in different colors, the ones that you think were "black" are actually berbers mixed with blacks slaves, slaves who werent bought like the europeans slave trade, they were captured and forced into slavery, this is documented thoroughly with many books by sub saharans talking about its horrors.

THOUGH it is important to note that berbers come in different colors, the ones that lived near the coasts and the deserts come in more tanned colors while the ones that lived in the rural mountains can be light skin or even white with blue eyes and yellow hair.
I myself am a berber one of my cousins has yellow hair, many of my cousins are completely white and im light olive skinned.
