2024 German state elections, final polling analysis.

In this video I will take one final look at the polls for the 2024 German state elections in Saxony, Thuringia, and Brandenburg. This will also include a look at the 2019 polling to see if there are any polling misses that can be expected.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t get the mainstream parties strategy when it comes to the AFD, on the one hand they want to shut them out of power at any and all costs, but on the other hand, they barely want to lift a finger to address the issues that have given rise to them in the first place, kind of seems like they’re just Trying to hold a lid down on a pressure cooker.

I wonder wether coalitions will be even possible in that situation. Nobody wants to work with the AfD and I can't see CDU, SPD Greens and Linke all in the same alliance.

I'm from Saxony, formerly voted for the AfD but stopped supporting them due to their position on Russia.
It's interesting to see a take on our election from an American perspective.
If the AfD wins both or either election they should at least get the position of speaker of parliament. It's just a matter of respecting their voters.
They're not gonna be part of a government though, just ain't gonna happen.
