Several important things mentioned in this video. First is that, in Germany, governments are built on coalitions of parties. Will the AfD be able to build a coalition? If not, will there be a coalition built around a party that came in second in terms of number of seats held?

Next big thought is, is this a portent for what may happen elsewhere? One of the key pillars of the AfD platform is their concern over the influx of people from other countries. This sounds very similar to one of the big complaints of Trump supporters against Vice-President Harris. With that in mind, might this be a sign of how things will go in two months in the United States elections?
