I have this exact same filter just a fyi they sell 2 types of filters one is the regular one and the other has "stay clean" technology if you buy the stay clean filters they work much better :)

I sure hope it is the quietest. I have my aquarium in my room, and I got two aquaclears. Both were by far the LOUDEST filters I've ever owned. The seachem tidal 35 was not much quieter either. Both are pretty overrated, but anyway, thanks for uploading this review and giving me hope. Cheers 🍻

Mine is quiet when standing next to it but it creates loud humming noise at the other side of the room around the ceiling.

I’d really like to know how you put the sponge on the intake. As well as what kind and how you put the sponges inside. I have a beta in a 20 gallon tank. I just bought this filter and I’m scared it still may be a little too strong. Please respond and let me know if possible. Thanks.
