In this video I will show how I created a send - return loop for outboard FX with my XR18 using X Air edit.
Most of this will apply to the other versions of this mixer as well.
I'm also showing how to stereo pair (link) the busses, which comes in handy for creating stereo monitor mixes as well.

Thank you for sharing the knowledge! :) I'm loving how the XR18 is fitting into the synth/drum machine setting.

Could you clarify how your monitor/headphones/solo settings work? I am facing some issues while soloing where the soloed track becomes louder and still includes the other tracks on the Main LR when that track is soloed.

I want to use external analog compressor in the exact same way (parelell compression). Do you experience any noticable phase shift or latency that way when blending in processed signal into dry one?
