I spent 22:22 the cockpit section from a crashed 2013 skylane.
I used my engineer knowledge and added all the electronics to convert it into a full 6dof flight sim.
When all was done I spent 130hrs and 13000$ + a custom gaming pc.
All the instruments, ap, coms, are fully functional. I have plans in place to pick up something nice for a good deal.
I passed ame, written, ground school basically. Just looking for a local pilot with a cfi and cfii for the next few steps I have a mosquito xe ultra lite helicopter, and paramotors I fly now.

I have flown the heli from my place to my mom's apx 90mi away more than a few times I just have to stop in banning for fuel as I only have about 60mi usable range if I stay within the fuel limits for P103 I do have an extra blader tank with 2 gallons extra asn an emergency reserve. It sounds crazy but it actually has pretty good fuel economy for a helicopter it's about the same to drive my c8 to my mom as the helicopter, though the c8 is faster if there is no traffic / cops. But a steady 65mph with a 5-15mph tail wind will always win it just sucks going back home with a 5-15mph headwind.
If anyone has a 95+ 182 they want to trade for a modified C8, making 780hp let me know must be upto date with low hrs or recent rebuild.
I have over 1200hrs logged in my sim in 11 different planes with an SF50 as my long-term goal I'm a single parent with two kids and my 7yr has almost 60hrs logged in the sim I make her fill out log books on flights and everything just good practice.

I have not heard anyone give some of these tips but were wondering if it was smart like doing ground training beforehand etc. Thank you for answering questions i had not asked anyone yet.
