The World In 2050: A Peek Into The Future

The year 2050 might seem like a lifetime away, and predicting what the world could look like 30 years from now is no easy task. A lot can change in a single decade, let alone three, however, we do have a few 'clues' that could be painting us a pretty accurate picture.

In today's video, we are looking at what the world will look like in the year 2050. We will take a look at the futur technologies, new ways of transportations such as Uber Elevate, how amazon will deliver their products using drones and much more

I'm 40 and I still remember watching the AT&T "You Will" campaign commercials in the early 90s thinking "that is crazy!!" And everything in those commercials happened. So I'm not too skeptical that 2050 will look something like this. 🤷‍♀️

There's the idea that the growing population will require us to produce so much more than we do now, but when you look at the data, we already produce more than enough. Take food for example, on a global scale we produce enough food to feed 10 billion people, our current population is around 7 billion. Yet, people starve. Why?

It's not overpopulation that I'm worried about, it's greed and wastefulness. There's more than enough to go around, to give everybody a comfortable life, and that CAN be the future.

The only thing stopping us is the small few at the top, the richest people in the world produce more than half the world's CO2 emissions, despite being a minority of the population.

Overpopulation has never been an issue, greed and endless consumerism is the real problem.

Humanity needs to stop fighting and work together for a better future. Our goals should be medicine, space travel, and better technology, not to mention stopping homelessness and poverty. 2050 could be a paradise if we try.

That’s the absolute best case scenario..
Saying that AI is making other or better job for humans is like saying cars made better or other job for horses. Horses today are unemployable. The cost for a horse is crazy high and the use is super limited in todays world. The same will come true for at least half the jobs of today.. with our current system with free market we are doomed. We will need something else to make it work and we should start discussing it NOW! AI is not comming. AI is already here and it’s going to develop at a speed that no biological thing will ever be able to match..

Why aren't we allowed to help in the planning? I don't remember planning to turn 2022 into what it is today? And I'm certainly not allowed to help plan 2050.
