You forgot the scenario where autonomous machines take over work. I bet we'll have helper robots and completely autonomous supply chains by 2050 eliminating the need of human intervention in all aspects but design. There would be an economical collapse before money is ultimately rendered useless and we become completely dependent on robots to do everything for us, including building new and better robots. Eventually we'll find a way to merge with them, leaving behind our human weaknesses to become a species of cyborgs. If within this time frame they discover a way to travel fast through space, we may not even live on earth by the next millennium.
