I'd never use it, but I'd just rather not clean up glitter for the next 10 years as it randomly pops up in large quantities around my room, kitchen, etc. Glitter NEVER goes away when you use it on anything.

Even if it's biodegradable glitter, do you really want glitter getting on everything everywhere you go throughout the day as it slowly comes loose after drying? Definitely not for a routine thing. Only for glitzing up a costume at a con or Halloween. Which is why for years you've been able to get hairspray with glitter already in it in the same section where the colored hairspray is. Using the newer biodegradable glitter is better, so maybe mixing it yourself into your own product is worth the trouble, but glitter hair is hardly a new concept.

And of course most of it would wash out when you rinse the shampoo out. Whoever said to put it in shampoo obviously didn't use any brainpower.

I can see this being cool as part of a rave outfit, I can't think of another situation where this would be appropriate (not for style reasons, just because you'll be shedding that glitter for the next 10 years)

there are fine mist glitter sprays for when your hair is dry, or even glitter hairspray, so yeah, i think those would give you better results
