I've already done this for 1 year. It's called being poor.

My grandma is from Ireland and growing up it’s always been a thing for us to keep boiled potatoes and hard boiled eggs in the fridge for meals or snacks. Usually a tub of baked chicken too. Turns out it’s super healthy

im sure he mentioned in in the full interview, but another great aspect of this diet is it resets your taste and re-calibrates the quantities of sugar, salt, fat, etc. that your taste is accustomed to. Thereby requiring less of those to be effective and possibly eliminating the need for them altogether.

Lost 40 lbs including beer belly in 3 months and got pretty ripped at 56 years old.  Vlogged the whole thing beginning to end.

My friend did this for several months, and he just kept losing weight..it was crazy, because he was about 280 lbs when he started. He kept off at least 50 lbs. He looks way healthier...now his wife and I just have to get him to stop smoking lol.

1 medium russet potato has 30% of your potassium intake too, which is badass. The boiling of the potato also reduces lectins by 50-60 percent and letting it cool off before eating it reduces the effect of lectins even further. Too many lectins of the wrong kind = leaky gut.

I was on probably a 90% potato diet (the other 10% was mostly bananas, carrots, cabbage, and other extremely cheap produce) over two years. No meat, no dairy, no salt, no sugar, no oil, no condiments, no cheating, no cravings. My weight was a stable 170 lbs at 5'10". Then I got married and started eating my wife's cooking, and over two months, my weight shot up to 195 lbs, which is the heaviest I've ever been. I love my wife, and her cooking tastes great, but I miss my 170 lbs potato-based body.

I survived on totally potato’s attending college in Idaho. Cost me 99 cents for a ten lb bag. I ate them like apples, shredded for hash browns, baked, boiled & scalloped. Best time of my life👍

I was on this diet and don’t even know it during the war in my country 1993. We ate only potato the whole winter ( and we didn’t have tap water and electricity). My parent never look better in their whole life, i can tell you that. Sad times but I just relize this about potatos. Maybe I can try it agan since I need to lose 20 kg. Without a war ofcourse :-)

He speaks the truth. I didn't know why I was loosing weight so fast 4 months in after I started eating predominantly potatoes. I mix ground flaxseed in a serving every day. I have lost 43 lbs. in about 3.5 months not crazy weight loss but very up lifting which helps to keep me motivated.

A potato lobbyist went on potato diet for 3 months or a year I forget. The point was to show they’re perfectly safe. By the end he’d lost weight, lowered cholesterol and blood pressure.

Thank you for sharing this video, this is gold! I have now been eating only cold potatoes for about two months and I have lost total of 70lbs. (I eat about 9 russet potatoes, 7 red potatoes and 10 O'Brien potatoes and of course 6 sweet potatoes a day, microwaved with a little pinch of salt)This is life changing.
